Tutorial

Welcome to The Survey Tutorial! The Survey contains a large number of resources organized by different entry fields, including title and keyword. To help you achieve the best search results, check out the Tutorial, which will walk you through the different ways of finding information in The Survey database.

The keyword search is perhaps the most powerful search tool in The Survey. We have assigned a number of particular keywords to each resource based on subject matter.  When the specific title of the resource being searched for is unknown, use the keyword search to locate resources based on content.  To obtain the most specific results for your search, be sure to search by specific keywords. For example, searching for “health” or “cancer” will yield many results, but searching for “mental health” or “breast cancer” will yield more useful results.

For reference, click here to access an alphabetical list of all keywords from the resources in The Survey.  A keyword search for any of these terms will yield at least one result.
